About Bergies Coffee Roast House
I heard about Bergies Coffee Roast House, and it was close enough to work, so I thought I’d swing by. This coffee shop is a charming coffee roaster and community hub in Gilbert, Arizona (in-fact, there was some sort of group meeting going on when I stopped by). The outdoor patio is eclectic, quirky, and feels a bit tropical. It’s the type of setting that lends itself well to an escape into a personal passion project, the next great thriller, or a get-together. It’s even shaded enough as to repel the harsh desert sun during those hot summer days.
About the coffee
I got to Bergies Coffee Roast House first thing in the morning, and there was fresh coffee waiting for me, mass-brewed and dispensed from insulated carafes. The roast is their own, and the folks I spoke with when I was there were friendly and rightfully proud of creating a beautiful community space.
The coffee at Bergies Coffee Roast House isn’t the best in the valley, and there is a limited selection of food. Bergies Coffee Roast House seems to be, however, a spectacular place to meet up with friends and enjoy coffee and conversation. The space itself is awesome, and the staff is delightful. If you’re craving that perfect cup of single-origin brew, you might want to stick with some of the coffee shops in the Valley (like Cartel or Songbird) that serve thoughtful pour-overs of local single-origin roasts. If you’re looking for a quick cup, are in the area, want to take a breather outside, or need a big smile to start your morning, this is the place to go.
